So the weather is getting colder and the Advent festivities are slowly starting….

A wreath-making workshop was organised in the village hall on Thursday 2 December.

The dormant creativity known to pulsate through the veins of so many, in and around Appleshaw, was coaxed into life by a glass of Prosecco or piping hot, strong Swiss Gluhwein.

There was much mirth (and quite a lot of noise) – all of which came together in the creation of numerous stunning wreaths, carefully wrought under the patient tutelage of Melissa Seymour. (And a large sum was raised for three village organisations.)

It was, above all, a laugh – as you can see from these photos…
